TEAM NEF -- 100%
NEF is proud to be a Charity Partner in the Naperville Marathon that will be held this fall on November 9, 2014.

TEAM NEF was the first Charity Partner that filled their slots and we're energized not only about raising funds that support students in the district but also providing our runners and volunteers with a great experience.

Our runners come from all walks of life and include our own District 203 Superintendent Dan Bridges, staff and teachers. You'll be meeting them "up close and personal" over the coming months and we look forward to sharing their journey with you.

A great, big, heartfelt THANK YOU to TEAM NEF runners for their dedication to our students! We look forward to working with them over the next seven months and providing them with free training program led by District 203's Christine Bell, coach/trainer, pre-race festive dinner and gift bag, guaranteed race day parking, commemorative t-shirt, customizable fundraising emails, and a chance to win the prize as the top TEAM NEF fundraiser.

If you would like to help, by either joining the committee, completing a few tasks or cheering on race day, please contact Alissa Johnson Tripas, event chair, at ajt9410@yahoo.com or Ann at aspehar@naperville203.org.

Did you know that the Naperville Education Foundation (NEF) exists to provide funding for programs that make a profound difference in the lives of District 203 students?

NEF supports each individual school through the Trustee Award, Annual Grant Awards (click here to learn about grants awarded to your school), the Breakfast Program, Kid Booster Anonymous Fund, Study Skills Academy and Math Camp. By investing in these programs, your contribution will not only benefit your school, but all students in District 203. You may learn more about what your donation will support by visiting our website at www.nef203.org.

Please CHECK THE BOX next to NEF on your student's school registration form and make a $25.00 (or more) donation to help continue these crucial programs throughout District 203 and in your school!

We Yukked It Up!
For the second year in a row over 550 patrons enjoyed a spirited performance by The Second City comedy troupe of Chicago at Wentz Hall on the campus of North Central College in Naperville.

The professional entertainers' work was augmented by the talents of sixteen Naperville North and Naperville Central students who participated in an improv comedy workshop sponsored by the Naperville Education Foundation and conducted by The Second City cast.

Yuks for Youth event chair Bill Mitchell commented, "Yuks For Youth provides NEF with the opportunity to involve students, parents, District 203 staff, and community members in an enjoyable event that generates community financial support -- $45,000 this year -- while showcasing student talent and communicating the mission, purpose of and benefits of the Naperville Education Foundation.

A special thank you goes out to the Y4Y committee for their support and efforts: Jill Baer, Dan Bridges, Kerry Bleuher, Pete Ellman, John Gallagher, Dawn Newman, Debbie Shipley, Alissa Johnson Tripas and Beth Whittingham."

Thanks again to all our sponsors -- see the list below!

With the generous support of foundations, businesses, educational professionals and individual donors, NEF is able to provide financial resources that increase learning opportunities by supplementing the school district's budget.
