Each May, the Foundation hosts its annual “Building A Passion” Breakfast.
This fundraising breakfast is the Foundation’s opportunity to showcase to the
community the wonderful accomplishments in District 203. Each year’s event
focuses on a different theme such as Literacy, Math and Science, the Arts, and
Technology, and serves as our opportunity to walk our guests through programs
and events that have made a difference in the lives of our students. It is an
emotional event where teacher grants are shared, community partnerships are
highlighted, and sponsors are recognized. The highlight is most always that special
student who shares with us the impact an NEF grant had on their education.

Thanks to the sponsors of the NEF Building A Passion Breakfast, Harris Bank and
Nancy & Ron Nyberg, the entire cost of tickets purchased is applied toward educational
opportunities for the students in District 203.
