In October of 2007, National City Bank joined the NEF as
a corporate sponsor for the Cents for Kids campaign. They
committed to match dollar for dollar all new money that
was donated via Cents for Kids over the course of the next
year, up to $10,000. We were successful in our goal to raise
additional funds, and in the fall of 2008, we were happy to accept a
check from National City Bank for $10,000, the full amount of
the challenge.
